The Steamboat Art Museum is proud to announce its summer exhibition, Heide Presse: We Set Our Faces Westward… One Woman’s Journey 1838 – 1849.

This exhibit tells the story of the Oregon Trail journey, in paintings, drawings, and artifacts, inspired by the settler woman’s journals of Keturah Penton Belknap. The exhibition brings to life the uniquely female perspective of our country’s westward migration.
