SAM’s Plein Air Event brings local artists together with artists from around the country, and the community and our visitors together with the artists as they paint on location – This event is uniquely Steamboat!
Experience friendly atmosphere of Steamboat, the easy access to historical ranches, wild rivers, and the breathtaking landscape and community. Painting inspiration from fabulous scenes abounds!
It’s for the first-time and the seasoned art buyers. Build your collection with paintings reflecting our unique community, at affordable price points. Featuring works by local favorites and visiting artists.
Meet the artists throughout the week, get familiar with their individual painting styles and what inspires them. Make some new friends!
