Ekphrasis* 2020 Winners

Congratulations to the winners of Ekphrasis 2020, an annual visual writing competition.  This event challenges writers of all ages to share stories inspired by the artwork in the summer exhibition at the Steamboat Art Museum, The Art of the Quilt.

*The word ekphrasis comes from the Greek for the description of a work of art produced as a rhetorical exercise, often used in the adjectival form ekphrastic.  It is a vivid often dramatic, verbal description of a visual work of art, either real or imagined.
